In memory: Srideviâs best Filmfare covers

Words seem to fail as one tries to express the sorrow the fading of one of the biggest and brightest stars has caused. She was not just an actress that the industry and the country cherished watching on the big screen, she was the epitome of grace and was a woman with an iron will to never give up. Her chirpy laughter, sparkling expressive eyes and a talent beyond compare will be missed more than one manages to express at this numbing hour. Whoever has ever come across Sridevi in their real life would know what a gem of a person she was. 

Overtime she graced the big screen, she gave us a memorable character to relate to. Be it the every smiling Chandni or the highly protective Mom, she’s given us decades of magical cinema that we will live by for many many years to come. It was too soon to have left the world with a void that no one but she could fill. Sridevi was the yesterday and today of the Indian Film Industry and it’s a pain that she will not be the tomorrow of it. 

While we can all sit and smile amongst ourselves reliving the moments she’s given us through her films, Filmfare managed to capture a few memorable moments with her as well over the years. Every time she would walk in for a photoshoot, one could feel her presence right away. She would own each room she’s walk in like its meant only and only for her. She would make the place a happy and positive one with just her shy and happy energy. That was the Sridevi Filmfare will remember. A Sridevi that spoke less behind the camera but expressed beautifully when it came on. 

It was too soon and too unfair to take her away from the people who love her so much. It’s too untimely and numbing as we still mourn the loss of the first female superstar of the country. Tiger Shroff steps out for dinner with sister Krishna Shroff and good friend Disha Patani

We have heard this often that Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani who are super fitness freaks, get to cheat on their healthy meals on Sunday. The two in pre-Covid days used to often step out for Sunday lunch at their favourite eatery in Bandra. The actor was seen in his casual avatar opting for basic trousers and a white tee. But the girls set out for their dinner looking absolutely stunning and soaring the temperatures. Krishna Shroff who’s equally into fitness and living a healthy lifestyle opted for denim shorts and a tank top. There was a time when the airport looks gave us more glimpse into what is into fashion and what are the current trends more than the runway. Well, our celebrities always make sure that they are impeccably dressed when they step at the airport, to make sure that they make heads turn and look their best.  Well this weekend Ranveer Singh and Rakul Preet Singh both decided to jazz up their airport look. Ranveer Singh as usual went for a quirk twist to his attire. He had a branded zany attire with the perfect shades and his long hair completing the look.
