Ajay Devgnâs father Veeru Devganâs mortal remains taken for the funeral

Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn’s father, Veeru Devgan passed away earlier today after a prolonged illness and being bed ridden from the past few years. Veeru Devgan was a renowned name in the film industry and worked as a stunt man, action choreographer and director. He was survived by sons Ajay Devgn, Anil Devgn and two other children. The Devgn family shared an official statement soon after the news broke. The statement read as, "With profound Grief and sorrow, We regret to inform that Mr.Veeru Devgan, Veteran Action Master and Father of Actor Ajay Devgn passed away this Morning. Funeral Will be Held at Vile Parle West Crematorium at 6:00 pm on 27th May 2019.”

As soon as the news broke we saw many Bollywood celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anil Kapoor and others turned up at the Devgan residence to extend their support to the grieving family. Ajay Devgn was clicked along with his family members carrying the mortal remains of his father for the funeral ceremony which will be held later today. Here are the pictures from their residence.
