After ABCD and ABCD 2, popular choreographer and director Remo D'Souza is back with another big dance film, Street Dancer 3D. Starring Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor and Nora Fatehi, the film's trailer was launched today in a grand way at a suburban theatre in the presence of the cast and the makers. If you have seen the trailer, you must have witnessed glimpses of the new version or remix of the iconic song Muqabala, which was a rage back in 1994. Remo D'Souza is bringing back the song in his upcoming film. Talking about recreating the song, Remo said at the event, "When Bhushan ji (Kumar, producer) told me that I can use this song in my film, I was so so happy because 25 years back Prabhu sir had done this song. I was in school at that time. I had never thought that one day I'd be able to meet Prabhu sir and do the same song with him... It's an iconic song and was shot brilliantly back then. So I was scared how I'd do it again. But I was relieved that Prabhu sir would be himself in the song. So nothing could go wrong."

Varun Dhawan too wanted to be part of the iconic song and he tried hard for that. Remo further revealed, "Varun and Shraddha asked me again and again to do at least one step with them but I told them that story wasn't allowing that. Then on Varun's insistence I took one shot, which is not there in the film (Laughs). But you guys watch out for Shraddha and Prabhu sir's one sequence." Incidentally, Mukkala Muqabala is from the 1994 Tamil film Kadhalan (dubbed in Hindi as Humse hai muqabla). It was composed by A. R. Rahman.
