Sanjay Leela Bhansali celebrates his birthday with Alia Bhatt Meezan Jaffrey and friends

It was Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s birthday yesterday and the filmmaker’s birthday was indeed a special one. He released the teaser of his next film Gangubai Kathiawadi which stars Alia Bhatt in a lead role and the teaser created a storm on social media.

The director celebrated his birthday last night with few friends and industry folks. Seen at the bash was his Gangubai Kathiawadi lead Alia Bhatt, his Malal actors Meezan Jaffrey and Sharmin Sehgal and music director Ismail Darbar. Alia Bhatt looked stunning in a white number and had her hair tied in a neat pony. The actress was on cloud nine as the teaser garnered a positive response and she won all the rahs rahs for her look and a glimpse of her performance. 


Several videos from the bash have gone viral on social media, where we see SLB happily cutting the cake and Alia Bhatt and his friends cheering for her. The director even posed for the paparazzi later with Alia Bhatt and the actress got into the Gangubai Kathiawadi mode and greeted the paparazzi like her character from the film.
