Pictures: Salman Khan gets the second shot of the vaccine today

Salman Khan has been actively talking about the importance of vaccination and how it is mandatory for everyone to get the shot as soon as it’s available to them. The actor himself had his first shot last month and his parents are all fully vaccinated. 

Completing the process today, Salman was snapped at a vaccination centre in Dadar, Mumbai to get his second shot. The actor arrived with his bodyguards and was quick to get the jab before heading back home where his family is gathered for an Eid celebration. Sohail Khan was also snapped at the centre for his second dose. 

Salman has earlier expressed his wish to organise a vaccination drive for the masses if he manages to procure the dosage. He has said, "During the last lockdown also, we tried to help as much as possible. The most important is, everyone must get vaccinated. I am also planning to organise a vaccination drive. If I get vaccines, then I would help people."
