Aparshakti Khurana and wife Aakriti Ahuja celebrate cosy baby shower - see pictures

The latest Bollywood couple to expect a child is actor Aparshakti Khurana and his wife, Aakriti Ahuja. The couple just celebrated their baby shower and were surrounded by close friends and family. Aparshakti's brother, Ayushmann Khurrana shared pictures from the function and captioned them: "Baby shower scenes". Tahira Kashyap was also seen taking pictures at the event. While Aparshakti went with a casual black t-shirt for the event, Aakriti was seen in a pretty pink kaftan-style dress. They sat in front of a wall covered with white balloons.


The couple had recently announced Aakriti's pregnancy. Aparshakti had taken to Instagram to share an image of the two with the caption: "Lockdown me kaam to expand ho nahi paya, humne socha family hi expand kar lete hain (We could not expand our work during the lockdown so we decided to expand our family instead) #preggeralert."


In an interview with a leading daily, the actor said: “I am yet to experience parenthood in its entirety but yes I do feel a sense of responsibility to become a better person for my child. I have been taking tips for quite some time from my father, brother, and some fabulous dads around me. Soon, I will have to bring the learning to execution."
