Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are set to marry this week, and fans can't wait to see the newlywed couple together for the first time. In the midst of this wedding intrigue, here's a look back at when Alia Bhatt openly declared her love for Ranbir.

The couple was present at the 64th Filmfare Awards in 2019. They truly proved their worth, as both actors received Best Actor in a Leading Role (Male) and Best Actor in a Leading Role (Female) awards. While Ranbir Kapoor received the award for Sanju, Alia Bhatt received the award for Raazi. Alia later admitted in an interview that their moment on stage together was a perfect moment for her. “Tonight is all about love, there, my special one, I love you, Ranbir." Alia said.

She posted an AMA (ask me anything) video on YouTube, in which fans asked her about her most memorable day in 2019. This elicited a response from her, "Well, there have been quite a few memorable days. But I think for me, the most special moment was when I received my Filmfare award and also Ranbir had just received his Filmfare Award. There was a moment of us on stage and pictures were clicking, that was the most memorable moment. I kind of imagined it in my head and it came true."
