Kareena Kapoor Kajol and others react to U-19 Indian Womens Cricket team winning the T20 World Cup

In a first, the U-19 Indian Women's Cricket team bagged the ICC Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup. This is a historic win for India and for women's cricket in the country. The finals took place on January 29 and the women in blue defeated England by seven wickets. As congratulations poured in, several Bollywood celebrities took to their social media handle to share their reactions.

Kareena Kapoor shared the happy news on Instagram with a clapping emoji. Kajol took to her Instagram stories and wrote, "The world 'CHAMPION' #U19T20WorldCup goes to the #WomenInBlue."

Taapsee Pannu who has played a cricketer onscreen in Shabash Mithu wrote, "That's the first World Cup for the ladies... And I'm sure there are many more to come... we have just started!!!!"

Meanwhile, Abhishek Bachchan wrote, "Congratulations to our Indian Women's team on winning the U-19 World Cup! Super proud of each and every one of you."
