From Adipurush to RRR: Six Bollywood movies inspired by the Hindu Epic Ramayana

Adipurush starring Kriti Sanon, Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan is all set to be released on June 16 this year. With the release date approaching, the film has been making a lot of headlines, whether it be related to the movie or the stars. It is based on the Hindu epic Ramayana and directed by Om Raut.

Additionally, there have been reports that Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Yash will star in the Nitesh Tiwari-helmed Ramayana.

Considering all this, Bollywood has produced a number of films inspired by the Hindu epic Ramayana. Here are six films worth checking out:
