Jitesh Pillaai and Neeru Bajwa at the Jio Filmfare Awards (Punjabi) 2018 press conference

It’s that time of the year again when we honour excellence in Punjabi cinema. Yes, the Jio Filmfare Awards Punjabi are back! After a smashing debut last year, the second edition of the Jio Filmfare Awards (Punjabi) promises to be bigger and better.

Kickstarting the festivities today were Filmfare editor Jitesh Pillaai and Punjabi superstar Neeru Bajwa. Neeru expressed her happiness on Filmfare coming to Punjab and also mentioned how sad she was about missing last year’s ceremony in which she won the Best Actress award. Neeru will also be seen performing at this year’s show and she seemed pretty excited about it. Jitesh Pillaai spoke about the process of nominations and the emergence of regional films in India.

We have heard this often that Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani who are super fitness freaks, get to cheat on their healthy meals on Sunday. The actor was seen in his casual avatar opting for basic trousers and a white tee. But the girls set out for their dinner looking absolutely stunning and soaring the temperatures. Krishna Shroff who’s equally into fitness and living a healthy lifestyle opted for denim shorts and a tank top. Disha Patani flaunted her hourglass figure in a leopard printed crop top and a beige coloured skirt.  Tiger Shroff will soon start working on Heropanti 2, while Disha Patani has a release in the coming months...
