Yograj Singh and Preeti Sapru grace the red carpet of the Jio Filmfare Awards (Punjabi) 2018

The second edition of the Jio Filmfare Awards (Punjabi) saw the who’s who of the Punjabi film fraternity in attendance. The event was held to applaud and recognize talent in Punjabi cinema. Filmfare held its first Punjabi awards last year that created a stir among the Punjabi industry instantly and this year the event got back to recognize talent par excellence in a bigger way. From power packed performances to starry appearances, the event saw many big names from the industry making a mark with their presence.

We snapped two of the most reputed names in the Punjabi industry attending the event, Preeti Sapru and Yograg Singh. While Preeti Sapru looked elegant in a rose pink suit, Yograj Singh looked at ease as he attended the event in a black kurta-pajama. Preeti Sapru also took home the Lifetime Achievement Award. Well, the night of glitz and glamour saw many young stars in attendance, but timeless names like Preeti Sapru and Yograj Singh’s presence made the night even more memorable.
