After a long wait, Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s horror comedy Stree has finally hit the screens today. Just before the film was released for the audiences, makers of Stree hosted a special screening of the film for their close friends from the industry. Joining Shraddha and Rao for the big screening were various Bollywood stars such as Vicky Kaushal, Taapsee Pannu, Neha Sharma, Hansal Mehta, Rajkumar Hirani, Gurmeet Choudhary with wife Debina, Yami Gautam and Gul Panag, among many others. Talking about Stree, Shraddha Kapoor told a news portal, “People don’t know whether I am Stree or not. There has to be a sense of mystery around my character. We made sure we maintain that. In horror films, it is all about how well you built up the scare quotient. It is quite interesting.” Exciting much! Alia Bhatt left for Bulgaria earlier today for the shoot of Ayan Mukerji’s fantasy adventure, Brahmastra. It is believed that Ranbir Kapoor will be flying down to Bulgaria tomorrow and will join her a day later in the East European country. This schedule won’t see the rest of the cast - Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia, Nagarjuna or Mouni Roy - joining the two leads. The couple will be there for the next 15 days shooting some high octane action sequences for the film. They have been training with Israeli fitness trainer and movement coach Ido Portal since January to prepare themselves for the sequences to be shot in this schedule. A source close to the film revealed in an interview with a leading daily that Alia Bhatt has lost a lot of weight for this sequence and wants to remain in perfect shape for it.
