Janhvi Kapoor slays it on the ramp


Janhvi Kapoor became an instant hit and a social media favourite with her debut film Dhadak, alongside Ishaan Khatter. Even though it was just her first film, Janhvi pulled off the role of Parthavi convincingly and her charming screen presence left people wanting for more. While her debut, on the big screen worked out pretty well, it was now time for her debut on the ramp as a showstopper.

Yesterday, Janhvi Kapoor finally made her ramp debut at the Lake Fashion Week 2018 as a showstopper for designer Nachiket Barve and boy did she slay it! The show was based on the designer’s Millennial Maharani collection and Janhvi looked the perfect fit.

The 21-year-old, who donned designer Nachiket Barve's 'Millenial Maharanis' collection, revealed she was worried about tripping on the ramp. "When he showed me a swatch of the fabric, I thought it's so stunning and in my head I was like I am going to trip and fall on my face because it looked so heavy, but then when I tried it on, the outfit was light and comfortable," Janhvi told media, post her walk.
