Robert Pattinson and Dimple Kapadia shoot for Tenet near Gateway of India

News of Dimple Kapadia joining the cast of Christopher Nolan’s next film, Tenet got us excited for the action thriller. But it was last week when our excitement peaked as Robert Pattinson, John David Washington and Christopher Nolan arrived in Mumbai to kick start the Mumbai schedule of the film.

Going on floors this week, Nolan, along with his team and actors Robert Pattinson and Dimple Kapadia were spotted in South Mumbai at 4am shooting at a famous café in Colaba. They also shot near the art-deco theatre in the same area. A source close to the filmmaker revealed, “A lot of the scenes were shot on the streets. Nolan is shooting on 65mm Imax camera and even filmed near the Gateway of India. The makeshift hotel created outside a SoBo five-star will also be used a day or two. Three luxury SUVs were parked in the vicinity for the actors to use to commute.”

The source present on sets also talked about Dimple’s arrival on sets. He said, “She was joined by John, while Robert wasn’t part of the sequence. Some Indian junior artists dressed in traditional Rajasthani attire also accompanied the teams.”

Tenet is an action thriller based on international espionage. The film also stars Michael Caine, Kentth Branagh, Elizabeth Debicki, Aron Taylor Johnson and Clemence Poesy.
