Sara Ali Khan celebrates her 26th birthday today. The actress was born on August 12, 1995, to actors Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh. While Sara made her TV debut in a commercial at the age of 4, she had her official Bollywood debut with Kedarnath in 2018. She also starred in Simmba which released the same month as her debut film.

On her birthday, Sara Ali Khan shared a reel with pictures of herself from 1995 to 2021. 

“Quarter century over! 26 years of living, laughing and loving,” she wrote in the caption. In the pictures, Sara can be seen cuddling with her parents Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh. She can also be seen attempting to shave her face as a kid, presumably imitating her dashing father and it is also evident that she shares a warm relationship with her brother, Ibrahim Ali Khan. 


From the pictures, one can also see that Amrita Singh has been a central figure in Sara’s life. Sara currently lives with her mother. In a rare moment, Sara opened up about her parents’ divorce on a talk show which streams on a leading OTT platform. "It’s very simple. If you see there are two options. Either live in the same house where no one is happy or live separately, where everyone is happy with their own lives, and you also get a different kind of love and warmth every time you meet. I live with my mother. She’s my best friend and means everything to me. I have a father too who is always available on the phone, and I can meet him whenever I want. I don’t think they were happy together ultimately, so I guess to separate was the best decision to make at the time,” Sara had said, according to a leading daily.
