The Best of Met Gala 2021

The mecca of fashion and glamour, the red carpet that the world waits for every year, the Met Ball isn’t just an event, it’s a phenomenon. Style icons from around the world gather to celebrate the creativity and evolution of the industry at the Metropolitan Museum of Art every year on the first Monday of May. With the pandemic restricting social activities last year, the Met Ball returned after a break and it was all worth the wait. 

Rolling out the shining red carpet for the celebrities to showcase their interpretation of this year’s theme, American Style, the Met Ball lived upto it’s legacy with outfits and costumes that define how much the world of fashion has evolved over the years. We saw classic lines and unique ways in which celebrities put their most sartorial foot forward for the big day. 

Some kept it classic and paid homage to American fashion. Billie Eilish, Timothee Chalamet, Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid and many more were seen in glorious numbers as they strutted down the crimson carpet. There were some standout appearances by Daniel Levy and Cara Delevingne who not only wore their style but delivered a strong message with their outfits.

Rihanna and Jennifer Lopez too got heads turning with their take on this year’s theme. We also witnessed some wow moments with Kim Kardashian in a full-covered number, head to toe and a 75 inches long ponytail and Lil’ Nad X who has mastered the art of making a grand entry at events. 

With many moments that got our jaws dropped and fashion bug tingling, here are some of the best looks from the Met Gala 2021.

We have heard this often that Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani who are super fitness freaks, get to cheat on their healthy meals on Sunday. The two in pre-Covid days used to often step out for Sunday lunch at their favourite eatery in Bandra. Looks like now that life is gradually coming back to normal, the hunk is back to his Sunday ritual with some changes. Last night the paparazzi clicked Tiger Shroff stepping out for dinner in Bandra with sister Krishna Shroff and Disha Patani in tow. The actor was seen in his casual avatar opting for basic trousers and a white tee. But the girls set out for their dinner looking absolutely stunning and soaring the temperatures. Krishna Shroff who’s equally into fitness and living a healthy lifestyle opted for denim shorts and a tank top. There was a time when the airport looks gave us more glimpse into what is into fashion and what are the current trends more than the runway. Well, our celebrities always make sure that they are impeccably dressed when they step at the airport, to make sure that they make heads turn and look their best.  Well this weekend Ranveer Singh and Rakul Preet Singh both decided to jazz up their airport look. Ranveer Singh as usual went for a quirk twist to his attire. He had a branded zany attire with the perfect shades and his long hair completing the look.
