Mrunal Thakur was ecstatic to be back on the runway as JJ Valaya's showstopper at the FDCI x Lakme Fashion Week. The FDCI x Lakme Fashion Week is taking place in Delhi this year and will run till March 27th. On the first day of fashion week, legendary designer JJ Valaya, who popularised the chevron motif, ended the show. For the second year in a row, Mrunal Thakur wore a halter neck blouse with silver sequins all over, creating a boho style for him. She wore it with Valaya's famous chevron printed skirt in gold and black, which she kept in place with the designer's tan leather belt. Thakur's earrings, a pair of massive silvery black oxidised shoulder duster earrings, were the show-stealer. Her boho style was well-accessorised with a striking chain headpiece and thick wooden and copper bangles.
As he celebrates 30 years in the fashion industry, the designer showed his Rumeli collection, which is created for sustainability. Valaya's collection is inspired by travel and features a variety of motifs without the use of heavy embroidery.
Mrunal had a stunning style that was both daring and attractive. A dramatic winged liner defined her doe eyes, while a bright glow, flushed cheeks, filled-in brows, and glossy lips finished off the runway look.
