Planet Marathi Filmfare Awards 2021: Lata Bhagwan Kare and Naveen Deshaboin grace the ceremony

Lata Bhagwan Kare and Naveen Deshaboina walked the red carpet at Planet Marathi Filmfare (Marathi) Awards 2021. Lata Bhagwan Khare, a 65-year-old resident of a small village, ran the Baramati Marathon to win money for her husband's treatment. Her inspiring story was adapted into a film by Naveen Deshaboina. Lata has been nominated for Critics’ awards for Best Actor (Female) while Naveen has been nominated for two awards, Best Debut Director and Critics’ Award for Best Film for Lata Bhagwan Kare.


Filmfare held the 6th edition of the Filmfare Awards Marathi on 31st March 2022 to celebrate the finest performances from the Marathi Film Industry. There was double the excitement as this edition of the awards honoured Marathi Films released between 2020-2021. The Filmfare Awards Marathi was hosted by Amey Wagh and Siddharth Jadhav.
