Karan Johar is one of the most loved filmmakers in Bollywood. From his larger-than-life rom-coms to his impressive wardrobe choices, he has always struck a chord with generations of Bollywood buffs.

Farah Khan, Manish Malhotra, Gauri Khan, Shweta Nanda Bachchan, Ayan Mukerji - everyone was papped as they headed in to join the celebrations for his 50th birthday bash held at his Bandra residence.

Soon Manish Malhotra shared a snippet of the elaborate arrangements made for the 50th Birthday bash - he shared a video where one can see an eclectic spread of silver cutlery, beautiful white flowers, and posh candlestands decking up the dinner table. Manish captioned the post with, “The most beautiful setting tonight." He also shared another snap of himself with Karan and Maheep Kapoor and wrote "Birthday boy."

Karan's close friend Maheep Kapoor too shared a series of pictures where one could see the stunning birthday menu consisting of roast chicken, tofu salad, and lamb shanks.

Goes without saying it was indeed a grand affair and Karan turned 50 in style and the best company. Check out the pictures here!
