Singer KK passes away Akshay Kumar Vicky Kaushal and others offer condolences

Singer-songwriter Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly known as KK passed away yesterday after suffering from a heart attack after a concert in Kolkata. He was reportedly rushed to the CMRI hospital where he was declared dead. KK was only 53. The late singer was best known for his track Yaaron and Pyaar Ke Pal among innumerable hits - songs that struck a chord with multiple generations. It would be an understatement to say that the news of his demise has left the nation in a state of shock. His loss is felt deeply by his loved ones and the entertainment industry.

Condolences poured in from devastated fans and celebrities alike who took to social media to share their tributes. Among those sharing heartfelt notes for the late singer are actors Akshay Kumar, Karan Johar, Vicky Kaushal, Rajkummar Rao, Varun Dhawan, Sara Ali Khan, and others. Meanwhile, musicians Vishal Dadlani, Pritam, and more also expressed their grief.

Akshay Kumar wrote, "Extremely sad and shocked to know of the sad demise of KK. What a loss! Om Shanti". Karan Johar tweeted, "Heartbreaking news on the sudden passing away of such an incredible talent…. RIP KK.. the entertainment world has lost a true artist today….Om Shanti."
