Navratri Special 2022: Peacock Green Traditional outfits for Day 8 of Navratri

With the eighth day of Navratri here, the hue of the season is peacock green. This serene colour represents freshness and individuality, and you too can incorporate it in your outfits. For inspiration, you can definitely take cues from these celebrities who carried out traditional outfits effortlessly.


Kriti Sanon opted for a beautiful modern peacock green lengha that had blingy detailing, including everything from rhinestones to sequins, for that extra festive look. The fringe border added the extra oomph and modern edge. Mouni Roy also opted for a similar number with a contemporary lengha with a strappy blouse with embroidery and sequins. The open hairdo, dewy makeup and boho jewellery tied it all together. 


Kajol, Anushka Sharma, Shruti Hassan and Tamannaah all opted for peacock green sarees with gold detailing. Their slicked-back hair, golden jewellery and classic traditional makeup tied it all together.


Deepika who also wore a peacock green saree similar to the others picked a bright green blouse to provide a contrast with the same. Shilpa Shetty picked a modern silhouette, with out-of-the-box cuts and detailing, taking the drape game to the next level.


Kriti went against the saree current and opted for a sharara set along the same green and gold palette. The sheer sequinned dupatta, and the flowing sharara was the perfect match and looked great together. Madhuri Dixit too opted for a peacock green anarkali, which was a mix of traditional and western silhouette. The ethnic zardosi embroidery looked amazing.
