9 years of 2 States: Lets look at these stills from the Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor romance

Directed by Abhishek Verman, 2 States was an official adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's book 2 States: The Story of My Marriage. The film stars Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles, with Ronit Roy, Amrita Singh, Revathi, and Shiv Kumar Subramaniam in supporting roles.

The film tells the story of Krish Malhotra, a North Indian Punjabi boy, and Ananya Swaminathan, a South Indian Tamil girl, who falls in love while studying at an Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Ahmedabad. However, their parents, who have vastly different cultural backgrounds and values, are against their relationship and the couple has to navigate a series of obstacles in order to convince them to approve of their marriage.
