Brahmastra Part One: Shiva released in theatres last year and starred Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in the key roles. The first instalment of Ayan Mukerji's mythological fantasy trilogy generated a lot of buzz among viewers throughout the globe. Yet, what made it even more noteworthy was that Ranbir and Alia, a real-life husband and wife team, were sharing screen time for the very first time..
Ranbir portrayed Shiva, a young DJ who had spent his life trying to suppress his mystical abilities before realising that fate had different plans for him. Alia Bhatt, on the other side, played the part of Isha, his wife and best friend, who served as his rock during this enchanted but difficult trip. Given that this was the couple's debut movie together, it seems sense that "RanLia" fans are ecstatic to see their connection on screen.
