As Piku completes 8 years here are a few stills from the film

It has been eight years since the release of Piku, which starred Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Irrfan Khan. One of the best films in Indian cinema, the comedy-drama by Shoojit Sircar examines the beauty and banality of interpersonal interactions. The film, which continues to be a fan favourite, received raving reviews from both the public and critics for its superb cast performances and equally captivating music. Even though Amitabh and Irrfan did fantastic jobs in their parts, everyone was riveted by Deepika's persona. It is really fantastic how the movie discreetly examines Deepika's character as a strong, independent woman balancing her relationships with her ailing father and attempting to maintain a personal life.
