Hereâs some inspiration on how to ace the chequered fashion trend

Despite the fact that current trends could make anything appear to be brand-new once more, the checkerboard print has been around for thousands of years. In terms of fashion, this print has been recycled over the years, first showing up in publications in the 1950s and 1960s, then reappearing in the 1990s and early 2000s.

Checkerboard isn't one of those print trends that disappears as quickly as you can get your hands on it. When you take something with a historical context and give it a fashionable twist to make it relevant to today's audience, it's likely to get heaps of love because it's a clean and classic graphic. With the resurgence of grunge and Y2K trends, today's trends are reminiscent of the fashion of the 1990s and the early 2000s. So, it comes as no surprise that checkerboard print is also making a strong comeback.
