Farhan Akhtar takes a trip memory lane as he revisits Dil Chahta Hai shooting location after 23 year

Informing his fans about this visit after over two decades, Farhan's photo captured a serene sunset scene at the fort, with him sitting on the wall alongside director Shujaat Saudagar. In the image, Farhan smiled as he faced Shujaat.

Reflecting on the moment, Farhan's caption read, “First time back at Chapora Fort since we filmed Akash, Sid, and Sameer talking about life. That was 23 years ago. A lot has changed but the warm, sea-salt-infused Goan air remains the same. Some places are just magical.”
Dil Chahta Hai, released in 2001, marked Farhan's directorial debut. The comedy-drama, produced by Ritesh Sidhwani under Excel Entertainment, revolved around the lives of three college graduate friends, starring Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Akshaye Khanna, Preity Zinta, Sonali Kulkarni, and Dimple Kapadia.

Earning a cult status, the film redefined themes of friendship, love, and relationships, portraying a poignant coming-of-age narrative. Its strong storyline, performances, and music garnered immense praise, even winning the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi.
