5 big highlights from the launch of the Sanju teaser

Sanju without a doubt is one of the most anticipated films of the year. Ever since Rajkumar Hirani announced that he will be making a biopic on his close friend Sanjay Dutt, people have eagerly been waiting to even get a glimpse of the film. And today, the teaser of Rajkumar Hirani’s Sanju is finally out. 

The biggest highlight from the teaser is obviously Ranbir Kapoor’s unbelievable transformation. The actor has simply left everyone stunned. From head-to-toe, Ranbir is looking and behaving like Sanjay Dutt. 

Ranbir Kapoor along with the creators of the film interacted with the media for the launch of the teaser of the movie. Here are the 5 of the biggest highlights from the event: 

1.Sanjay Dutt’s message before the teaser release:

Although, the inspiration for the biopic wasn’t present himself, he sent across a special video message which was shown before the release of the teaser. In the video, Sanjay Dutt said, “Mujhe abhi tak vishwas nai ho raha that a film is made on my life. I wish I could have been there with you all but I am shooting abroad. I have seen the scenes of the film and I can't believe how Ranbir is looking like me. Raju, Munnabhai bhi Ranbir ko mat de dena." 

2.    Ranbir’s reaction on learning about the details of Sanjay Dutt’s life:

When Ranbir was asked about the script, he said, "I know Sanjay Dutt as a family friend. When I read the script, I got to know his life journey. That shocked me. Drugs, his controversy with terrorism, his equation with his father, everything shocked me."

3.    When Ranbir Kapoor revealed which part of Sanjay Dutt’s life did he enjoy playing the most:

In Sanju, Ranbir will be seen portraying the different  phases in the life of Sanjay Dutt. So, when he was asked about which part did he enjoy the most, he said, “It was difficult to play was the young Sanju. There were more phases we had to show; the drugs and his mother's loss. The Munna Bhai phase was very fun.”

4.When Ranbir Kapoor was asked if we can expect a biopic on him in the future.

During the teaser launch event, when Ranbir was asked whether we can expect a biopic about his own life, to which he had a hilarious reply. Ranbir said, "I don't think my life is inspiring. I am a very boring person, I work and then sit at home. It might be an existential kind of picture and if a camera like Bigg Boss is installed, it will show that I go to work and come back home. If anyone wants to make a biopic on me, it's fine, I won't mind. But I don't think it will work or will have a message to convey."

5.When Ranbir Kapoor reacted to Saroj Khan’s casting couch comment:

Recently, Saroj Khan made some unacceptable remarks on the casting couch controversies. When Ranbir was asked for a response, he replied saying, “ I’ve never faced it in Bollywood. But if it is happening, then it’s very bad.”
