Qala is a film that elegantly depicts the fashion aesthetic of the 1920s through the figure of Qala Manjushree, performed by actor Triptii Dimri, and captures the fashion of what was once formerly referred to as the "Charleston Age'' in its frames. Dimri's character best represents the ethereal quality of the sheer sari because she wears dove-coloured saris throughout the film.
