Deepika Padukone steps out for jewellery shopping with her mother


Deepika Padukone was spotted yesterday along with her mother, Ujjala Padukone. The mother daughter duo stepped out in the city for some jewellery shopping. Ujjala is in the city to pay a visit to her daughter from Bangalore. Deepika Padukone wore a pink Anarkali suit which gave her an elegant yet simple look. She also chose to give accessories a miss which made her look more laid-back while keeping it fashionable.

On the work front, although Deepika is taking a small break from films she has been more than occupied with her other professional commitments. Recently, the actor was seen at the MET Gala in New York last month after which she flew down to France to attend the Cannes Film Festival. After Padmaavat, Deepika has not begun working on any project yet. Although, she signed up for a Vishal Bhardwaj film which also stars Irrfan Khan, the project has been put on hold indefinitely due to Irrfan’s health conditions. Rumours are doing rounds that Deepika has been signed on for a female superhero project. While we have seen many attempts by Bollywood at this genre, we are still to see something being actually successful. So, do you think Deepika will break the jinx of a superhero film in Bollywood?
