Here are the latest pictures from the sets of Akshay Kumar starrer Gold

Akshay Kumar is ready to take on the box-office during Independence Day this year with his next release Gold. After PadMan fared well at the box-office in February, this will be Akshay’s second release this year. A few new pictures of the actor in his character from Gold have floated on social media. Akshay has already shot for most parts of the film and only a small chunk is left. In the latest pictures from the sets, Akshay is wearing a white dhoti and a printed cream coloured Kurta. The film is set in 1948 and revolves around the first ever victory of India at the Olympics post-Indian independence. Sources close to the film told a leading portal that the shooting of Gold is almost over and Akshay is currently just wrapping up the shooting for the last song, that is expected to end by this week.

Directed By Reema Kagti and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, Gold will hit the theatres on 15th August this year. The film also stars Mouni Roy, Amit Sadh and Kunal Kapoor in crucial roles. Here are the latest pictures from the sets of the film.
