For Indians, the Oscars this year were particularly memorable. When the song ‘Naatu Naatu’ from RRR and ‘The Elephant Whisperers’ by Guneet Monga won the awards for best original song and best documentary short, respectively, they made history. Deepika Padukone also made a dazzling appearance in an elegant gown as she became the third Indian to present at the renowned ceremony.

The 95th Academy Awards ceremony gave a strong dose of theatrical display on the sartorial front. Many Indian-origin celebrities have occasionally attended the famous event over the years.
